can you take my dog?
Possibly. Please send me a message and we can figure out if your dog would be a good fit at our sanctuary.
Are any of your dogs available for adoption?
Nope. Once a dog lands here, here is where they stay and live happily ever after. We feel that it is very hard on senior dogs to be bounced around so we eliminate that by not re-homing. If you are interested in adopting a senior dog, do a google search for senior dog rescues in your area.
Do you need volunteers?
Our Sanctuary is run out of our home, so we don’t utilize volunteers. Honestly, we don’t consider this as a “business” it’s just our life and we prefer to run the sanctuary as just a large family. Also, our dogs thrive on routine and predictability…they tend to freak out when anyone comes over. Too much excitement can trigger seizures in some of our dogs, extreme fear or just too much chaos. We try to keep things very routine and predictable for them.
Do you allow visitors?
No, we do not allow visitors. Many of our dogs are very ill (in the hospice stage) or have severe behavioral issues and disruption to our normal routine and having strangers over is very stressful and chaotic for them. Thank you for your understanding.

where are you located?
We don’t give out our physical address because we end up with new dogs in the backyard and on the front porch. Basically, the Sanctuary is our home, which is located on four acres in the small, beautiful mountain town of Conifer, Colorado.
